Sadly, Connor Bird suffers from Singer-Songwriter Disorder or SSD. Characterized by the DSM-IV as being a disorder of musical creativity where one may make emotive and good music that does absolutely nothing original with the already well established indie folk-oriented sound. Common symptoms include sad songs, obsessive use of a solo acoustic guitar, and strummed chord progressions. Suffice to say it isn't bad, but it won't stand the test of time. It needs something a little more substantial, experimental or to put it plainly, an original sound.
